Why can’t infants under 1 year old consume honey?

Can honey regulate blood pressure?
While honey contains natural sugars, studies suggest that honey may have a gentler effect on blood sugar levels compared to refined sugars. Especially those concerned about diabetes should consume honey in moderation, but when used as a sweetener, it could help avoid the blood sugar spikes associated with more processed sugars.
