Supporting the Hands Behind the Harvest: Our Indonesian Farmers and Warehouse Teams

Behind every jar of honey is a story of dedication, courage, and a whole lot of heart.
At Jungle House, we’re all about celebrating the people who make this magic happen—our incredible bee farmers and warehouse teams who work hard to make sure you get honey that’s as pure as nature intended.

Supporting Over 400 Bee Farms Across Indonesia

All across Indonesia’s breathtaking landscapes—whether it’s wild jungles, coffee plantations, or strawberry fields—over 400 bee farms are busy harvesting honey.
These farmers are more than just workers; they’re the guardians of a tradition that’s been passed down through generations. Take Kusman, for example, our beekeeper coordinator, whose father climbs trees as tall as 400 feet to collect wild bee honey.
It’s a tough, sometimes dangerous job, but they do it with so much pride. Every drop of honey you taste carries their dedication and bravery.
These folks aren’t your average beekeepers. They take their craft seriously and handle nature’s sweetest gift with incredible care. They might not always be in the spotlight, but their hard work is the reason your honey stays as authentic and natural as possible.
Each jar is filtered twice—no pasteurization here—keeping all the good stuff nature intended.

Preparing for Shipment

Once the honey is harvested, it heads over to our warehouses in Bandung and Jakarta. That’s where more than 15 amazing workers, led by Denden, get busy processing and packaging it for the journey to Malaysia’s Port Klang.
They filter, bottle, and pack each jar with the same attention to quality that the farmers put into harvesting it.
The warehouse crew is a tight-knit bunch, all about teamwork and doing things right. Their kindness and dedication shine through in every jar that makes its way to your home.

A Warm and Welcoming Community

From our visits, we’ve felt firsthand the genuine warmth and kindness of the bee farmers and warehouse teams. These people are at the heart of Jungle House. Their generosity and welcoming spirit are something we’re proud to support and share with the world.
Next time you enjoy a spoonful of honey, take a second to think about the hands that made it possible. Picture the farmer climbing those towering trees in remote parts of Indonesia, risking it all to bring you wild honey.
Think of the warehouse team in Bandung and Jakarta, carefully preparing that honey so it arrives at your door just as nature intended.
When you support Jungle House, you’re not just getting honey—you’re supporting an entire community of passionate, kind-hearted people.
Together, we’re building a sustainable future for those who work hard to bring nature’s sweetest treasure to you, while also doing our part to protect bees, which are so crucial to our food supply.
Let’s keep celebrating and supporting the hands behind the harvest. Their hard work truly makes every drop of honey that much sweeter.
